# Creating a Rollout

Under `Settings` -> `Rollouts` you can manage your existing projects or create a new one.

By clicking on the "Create Rollout" button, a popup opens containing a form with the following fields:

* Name
  * The display name of your Rollout project.
* Identifier
  * A unique abbreviation being part of your Rollout-related URLs or as prefix for Client tasks.
* Project avatar
  * An image to be displayed in the Rollout list on your welcome page or on the Client Detail View.
* Rollout plan
  * The plan defines which features you will be able to access within your Rollout.
* Client limit
  * The maximum amount of Clients which can be created inside of this Rollout.
  * :warning: The limit you are assigning here needs to be available within your [subscription](/guide/rollout-projects/licensing.md). After saving the Rollout, the specified limit becomes locked and can not be re-used in other Rollouts.

{% hint style="info" %}
After creation, you can always adjust the Rollout plan and Client limit. Downgrading a Rollout project will result in loss of features, but not loss of data.
{% endhint %}
