Bulk-editing Clients
Bulk-edits can be started under both Inventory
-> Clients
and Inventory
-> Client Filters
by users who are at least Rollout Manager
.
Furthermore, Bulk-edits are only available for the Professional
and Enterprise
subscriptions.
It is possible to bulk-edit Clients across different Inventories at once.
Starting an Bulk-edit
From the Clients listing page, the Bulk-edit can be accessed via the Action
button after selecting at least two Clients.
This of course is limited to the Clients displayed on the current page.

Alternatively, Bulk-edits can be started from the Clients Filters page via the Action
button.
The Bulk-edit is only available if one single Client Filter is selected and will then process all the Clients matching this Client Filter.

Bulk-edit slide-over
After clicking the respective Action
button, the Bulk-edit slide-over opens up, displaying the number of affected Clients on both the top and the bottom.
The number of Attributes to be edited is also shown in brackets next to the respective tab.
The Default Fields
tab is pre-selected, the Fields to be edited must be selected.

The Statuses
tab enables the User to change the affected Clients Status across Inventories, by simply adding the respective Inventory and choosing the desired Status.
The Clients will then receive the chosen Status according to their Inventory.

Bulk-edit Status changes may cause Assignee changes if an active Client Assignment is in place. For further information see .
In the Custom Fields
tab, Custom Fields of all types can be chosen to be part of the Bulk-edit.
Text-based and Select Custom Fields strictly follow Replace
logic, while for Multi-Selection Fields the operation must be chosen.
Similar to the Client Group Bulk-edit, it is possible to , and .

Custom Fields that are not (yet) part of any affected Inventory can still be chosen.
The values are saved and will be displayed when the respective Custom Field is added to the Inventory.
Bulk-edit & Client Assignment
Depending on the Attributes selected, an active Client Assignment may cause further changes to the Clients Assignee following the Bulk-edit.
The behaviour is similar to an ordinary Import(update) in regards to an active Assignment.
