What is a Conditional Checklist?

A Conditional Checklist becomes active individually per Client, depending on its Custom Field values. If a Conditional Checklist is inactive, it is not shown on the Client Detail View and also does not need to be completed in order for the Client to progress in the Workflow.

Condition Builder

The Condition Builder is used to define the conditions that need to be met individually per Client.

It enables you to combine any number of rules and groups, nest them into each other, and compare them with (N)AND / (N)OR logic.

The condition rules are based on Custom Field values.

Example

An example use-case would be a Touch-Pen-Agreement Checklist with additional work steps that need to be done for Clients that have opted-in to receive a Touch-Pen. To achieve this, we can configure a rule when editing our Checklist which is bound to the Custom Field Accessories:

Like this, the Touch-Pen-Agreement Checklist

  • is only shown for Clients with a Touch-Pen

  • does not have to be completed for Clients without a Touch-Pen to move to the next status

Summary

A Conditional Checklist should be used when certain Clients should take different paths throughout the Workflow, determined by their attributes.
